Thomas recounts his initial disbelief in Jesus’ resurrection, expressing that he needed physical proof to believe. After Jesus’ crucifixion, Thomas and his fellow disciples were in hiding. Eight days later, Jesus appeared to Thomas, inviting him to touch his wounds and urging him to believe. Overwhelmed, Thomas declared his faith, acknowledging Jesus as his Lord and God.
