Holding All Things Together
from Redeemer Broadcasting, Inc.
Times:
Saturdays 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM
Holding All Things Together is a fast-paced, weekly broadcast that tackles important issues, both in the world and in today’s evangelical church. The program thoughtfully and faithfully examines topics and trends through a wholly Christian worldview, and includes a strong human interest element.
The program hosts are Dan Elmendorf and Cal Carter. Dan serves as President of Redeemer Broadcasting, and brings his appreciation for a “public radio”-style presentation to the broadcast. Cal Carter has been a radio public affairs director for over fourteen years, hosting programs across Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania. As host of Morning Magazine on Redeemer Broadcasting, Cal provides daily Bible quiz Q&A, and a weekly commentary, A Closer View.
An important part of the program will be a human interest story that encourages listeners with the firm hope of Christ.
Holding All Things Together also features commentary by Gerry Wisz, a past contributor to World Magazine and other Christian media. Gerry is currently a contributor to Christian Renewal Magazine and also writes for the Christian Booksellers Association. With his church leadership, business, and education experience, Gerry is a welcome addition to the program.
Other participants includes a rotation of pastors answering one listener question each week, plus a future book review. Listener questions for future broadcasts may be left on our toll free line: 888-724-4427. Just hit the “1” button as soon as the recorded message is heard, and leave your question.
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.”
– Colossians 1:15-18
