Dear friends,
As a KCIS listener, I know you share God’s heart for those in difficulty. That’s why I’m excited to tell you about a partnership between KCIS and our sister ministry, Seattle Urban Academy.
Romans 12:12 says, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” SUA students seek to live each day with that hope. But it isn’t always easy.
Elijah is an example. His father isn’t a part of his life. And when his mother realized she couldn’t protect him from the drugs, alcohol, gangs and violence at his high school, she sent Elijah to SUA.
SUA is a private, Christian school that helps transform youth at risk into young adults with hope. On Thursday, September 1, we’ll be sharing stories on KCIS about SUA students, and we’ll invite you to join in supporting them.
Today, Elijah is on track to graduate and pursue a nursing career. With SUA’s help, he’s about to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Will you prayerfully consider giving a gift to support students like Elijah? You’ll be helping young people overcome challenges and graduate to a brighter, more hopeful future.
At SUA, every classroom hour counts, because every student matters. Please join us on September 1!
